Hello. I changed my channel from personal to public, but it still forces me to change the privacy of every single post. How do I make my channel public? It seems to be ignoring the settings in settings.

two different things:

1.) Channel + Contact Role do determine what a contact can do with Content he/she gets access to...

2.) access is limited by the default access limits and by Privacy Groups

so go to

/group

and make sure that for NO group the setting

"Post to this group by default"

is set.

That didn't change anything. When I try to create a new post, it is set to Friends, not Public.

so make sure "Post to this group by default" is not set for "Friends"
